I've used CA to close a fingertip cut and make a "callous" so I could play a gig...the thin stuff stings, but the med/thick doesn't go deep into the cut...man, I hope no physicians are reading this!

Yep, I've used CA many times for minor cuts. Two years ago my daughter took a chunk out of her thumb. I found the piece, rinsed it with sterile saline solution, and put it back in the hole. I told my wife that we should just hit it with CA, but she insisted on taking her to the emergency room. When we got there, the doc wiped the outside lightly with Betadine and then hit it with CA (of course it was special sterile medical stuff.) The CA application cost $180! This didn't include the hospital charges.

I was inlaying a bridge and was putting two small (1/2") crosses on each end of said bridge. It was some of the best inlay work I'd ever done. But when I went to see how it looked on the guitar I realized that I had inlaid the crosses upside down. Got a real sick feeling in my gut.
